SAFETY GLASSES: another safety must! Great for keeping chips of plastic and fibreglass particles out of your eyes (both of which are VERY painful when imbedded in your eyeball!)

I'm a two time member of the Wise Owl Club. That means I was wearing my safety glasses and did not lose an eye. The first time a 10,000 pound piece of metal was being rolled and literally shattered sending 2,000F pieces of metal flying. I got a nice burn on my nose but kept my right eye. The second time a piece of wood splintered while I was routing an edge and sent a 4“ long piece flying at my left eye end on. The glasses stopped it dead.

I'm sure others out there have similar stories. The point is a couple of dollars kept me from losing both my eyes and can save your sight as well.
