I actually bought one of the R/C NEON kits locally and it works great on just a 9 volt Battery! Its a thin “ribbon” (2 3/8 inch) of deep blue light bright enough to cast shadows in a darkened room and intended to be taped or glued onto model cars, planes, etc. Incredibly, the power unit it about 1.5 inches square and must weight only an ounce or so! (Brought it to AAC97 for demo purposes, got a lot of nice feedback.) Also makes a cold neon bendable “cable” and sells larger amounts of the “ribbon” or use on cars (hence 12volt power units). -
